Congratulations to our very own, Rachel Segar
who has just completed her American Montessori
Society training. Ms. Segar, a 1997 graduate of
the University of Virginia has worked as Assistant
to Mrs. Suellen Biel, Primary Teacher and Co-Administrator
of GMS since 2008. We are currently accepting
applications for immediate and Fall 2010 openings
for our 3-6 year old classrooms. For more information

We are delighted to announce that
GMS is the winner of the 2009 Environmental
Excellence Award from the Pitt County Planning
& Development Department
This award is for exceptional effort in designing
and constructing our new school in a way that
preserves the environmental features of the
site. During the seven months of construction,
our site was inspected a total of fifteen times
and received exceptional scores during all phases
of construction. GMS received a certificate
acknowledging our efforts in protecting the
environmental resources of Pitt County.
